Booking Conditions:

Your accommodation will be available from 2pm on day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on day of your departure.

If you have an early arrival or a late departure time please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate when possible.
We reserve the right to deduct supplementary charges from the security deposit if the accommodation is not vacated at the stated time.   

The contract of hire is made between the Holidaymaker and the Owner and relates to accommodation only as listed on the final invoice for the time period stated. Please note, Book Menorca Villas is not the principal in the contract and only acts as booking and advertising service for the Owner.

Book Menorca Villas reserve the right, due to circumstances beyond their control, to reasonably alter any itinerary and/or substitute similar alternative accommodation to that which was originally booked.  Alteration or substitution does not give entitlement to compensation.

No responsibility can be accepted for the breakdown of public supplies including water or electricity.  In the case of breakdowns in the property, the property manager must be advised immediately.  They will use their best endeavours to repair the fault as quickly as possible.

Within reason guests are liable for any damage to the property or its contents. Any breakages or damage should be reported to the property manager.

Wifi      
For accommodation including interntet access, Book Menorca Villas will not be responsible for any problems with connection (service provider or technical). We will contact the necessary departments to restore connection as quickly as possible.

The Holiday-makers Responsibilities

The Holidaymaker is responsible for paying the total price of the holiday. The Holidaymaker is also responsible for the Property during the period of the holiday booking and expected to take all reasonable care of the Property and its furniture, fittings & equipment, and accept responsibility is not limited only to the breakage deposit. The Holidaymaker undertakes to leave the Property and its furniture, fittings, equipment and utensils clean and tidy at the end of the holiday and to advise Book Menorca Villas, and pay for, any damage, or breakages (fair wear and tear excluded), or loss of owners property.

The Holidaymaker agrees not to cause any annoyance or disturbance whilst at the Property. The Holidaymaker will allow Book Menorca Villas, the Owner or their agent access to the Property at any reasonable time. Neither Book Menorca Villas or the Owner, accept any liability for the loss or damage to for all luggage and personal belongings, vehicles and their contents for which the Holidaymaker is responsible at all times.

 

Pets are not permitted without prior agreement from the Owner. 

 

Book Menorca Villas cannot accept responsibility if you or any member of your party should miss the outward or homeward flights due to late check-in at the airport.

It is your responsibility to have a valid passport at time of travel.  Holders of non-British passports should check with the Spanish Consulate as to whether they require a visa.  It is essential the name on your flight ticket is the same as that on your passport.  Please be sure your passport and your children’s passports are in order.

It is a condition of booking that you and all members of your party are adequately insured.

The number of guests must not exceed the maximum sleeping capacity permitted, unless previously arranged with the corresponding extra payment.  Should Book Menorca Villas find more guests than stated the party will be asked to vacate the accommodation. The accommodation is reserved only for the guests named on the reservation.
The lead guest is responsible for the correct and decent behaviour of all members of the party. Should guests behave in a manner which is not acceptable by civilised standards Book Menorca Villas will ask the lead guest and party to vacate the accommodation. 
Gatherings of more than double the capacity of the accommodation are not permitted without authorization from Book Menorca Villas.       
Book Menorca Villas reserves the right to enter and inspect the accommodation in case of damage due to inappropriate use of installations

Extra equipment (cot, highchair, fold-up bed, bed guard, fan, etc.)       
Please notify us of any extras you may need at the time of reservation to ensure we can provide the requested items.  These should be paid with the final balance.

Website Accuracy: 

We have tried to ensure the descriptions on our website are accurate. However, it is possible some aspects of the resort or property may have changed by the time of your holiday. Where we are informed of any important changes, we will pass this information to you.

Book Menorca Villas has taken every care to ensure the accuracy of the Property descriptions, which are provided by the Owner and all literature is provided in good faith. Book Menorca Villas will notify the Holidaymaker of any changes as they become known but do not accept responsibility for errors made by the owner. Book Menorca Villas or the Owner shall not be liable for any loss, injury or damage of any kind or nature arising from the Holidaymaker's use of the Property and amenities.

Balearic Tourist Tax

The Spanish Government have imposed an ECOTAX charge. This is not included in the price of the holiday booked with Book Menorca Villas Charges on request.

You will be required to pay Balearic Tourist Tax for your stay in Menorca. This is calculated at 2€ per night per visitor over 16 years of age. The total amount is subject to IVA.

 

 

Booking Procedure

Telephone us on +34 655813507, submit a booking enquiry from our website 

www.bookmenorcavillas.com or contact us by email bookmenorcavillas@gmail.com to confirm the availability of properties or for advice. A provisional booking can then be made for the accommodation which will be held for up to 2 days. 

Once your booking has been accepted and the appropriate payment made, the booking is confirmed and accepted.

Payments

At the time of booking, a deposit is required of 50% per villa (unless a different amount is stated on the villa page on our website).

The balance of the monies due is payable at least 6 weeks before departure or at the time of booking if made within that period. 

A confirmation of the booking will be dispatched when Book Menorca Villa has received from the Holidaymaker, the deposit for the holiday.

Where full payment has not been received by that date, the booking may be cancelled at Book Menorca Villas discretion. We reserve the right to surcharge. Full payment for the holiday is required at the time of booking when this is within ten weeks of the start of the holiday.

Rental Price

3. Gas, electricity and domestic water.

4. Weekly change of bed linen and towels for the number of persons in your party.

7. Towels for use at swimming pool or beach.

Changeovers

Your booking of the property is from 2 p.m. on day of arrival.  As the next guests will arrive on the same day of your departure, you are required to vacate the property by 10 a.m. to allow time for cleaning to be carried out. 

The accommodation will be cleaned before your arrival and both linen and bath towels are provided. 
For those stays longer than 14 nights an “interim” clean and change of linen are included. 
We ask that all rubbish be placed in plastic bin liners and deposited in the public containers. Containers are located around holiday resorts and for country properties containers can be found at the nearest town.      
Additional maid services can be arranged on request, please do not hesitate to contact us for a quotation.
Book Menorca Villas reserves the right to deduct from the security deposit any additional cleaning charges incurred due to the accommodation being returned in inadecuate conditions including any undisposed rubbish. 

 

 

Property equipment
The accommodaton is furnished and equipped for self-catering for the maximum number of guests permitted. 
If during your stay you have problems with the equipment or installations please notify Book Menorca Villas and we will resolve the problem as soon as possible. 
Any breakdown of equipment or damage to the installations caused by misuse will be charged and deducted from your security deposit.   

 

 

Garden and swimming pool    
Both the gardener and pool maintenance will visit the accommodation twice weekly. Guests must allow access to the property. 
Guests are responsible for the safety of those using the swimming pool. Small children and non-swimmers must be supervised around the swimming pool area at all times. 

 

 

Security Deposit

A security deposit to cover any breakage, loss or damage to the accommodation and installations is required. 
Any breakages, loss or damage must be reported to Book Menorca Villas immediately. 

It is the Holidaymakers responsibility to take good care of the Property and its contents. A Security deposit of 350€ or 10% of the accommodation charge whichever is the greater up to maximum of 1000€ will be required and taken by credit card pre authorization.

The security deposit less any charges (if applicable) will be returned by the credit card pre authorization within 2 weeks of departure.
 

 

Cancelation policy

All cancellations/amendments must be notified to us in writing by the lead passenger and the date of cancellation/amendment will be the day of the email.  

The onus of proof of postage is on the client and we recommend Recorded Delivery. The following scale of charges will then be payable by you:

8 weeks or more before departure – loss of deposit.

6 weeks or less before departure – 100% of total rental price.

If the reason is not being able to travel to Menorca due to COVID, the amounts paid will be returned or the payment will be applied to a new reservation on later dates, at the customer's choice.

If the reservation is canceled for a reason other than not being able to travel to Menorca due to COVID, the amounts paid will only be refunded if Book Menorca Villas manages to reserve the property on the same dates as this reservation.
